ShaRON Elliot
Deirdre is phenomenal!!! She is an expert in her knowledge of AAC and is current with cutting edge new research, equipment and devices. She worked with my 10 year old son who has complex communication challenges, including cortical visual impairment, tirelessly for three years to trial methodologies and systems and ultimately find something that finally gave him a voice. She has made a life altering impact on my son and our family. She is a strong advocate for children with complex needs and has gone to bat against other professionals working with my son to share the research and the need to presume competence when his intellectual abilities were unknown. She is without a doubt the most skilled, thorough and committed therapist we have ever worked with.
